Guest[@Jack] There IS NO key and nothing to enter – the software is pre-registered when obtained from SOS. After installation, the program will start-up and show as “File Sharing Pro Licensed to Registered User” in the upper left top of the program’s startup screen.

GuestDo the files reside on the owner’s computer or do they reside in the cloud? If the files reside on my computer, I am concerned about an unexpected drawdown in computer resources when the files are accessed by the recipient. I guess another way to ask this is: Is my computer used as a server by this software, or once I have uploaded the files to the cloud, there is no further drain on my computer?
ThanksD_Ram

The files reside on YOUR computer. you are allowing users to access specific files etc. on your computer. The resources consumed by this are not really noticeable unless you are allowing downloads of large files/videos or allowing several logins at one time, you will want to limit that to about 3.D_Ram
GuestI have file sharing pro and have for some time now but have never been able to successfully allow users access, I believe this to be due to the ISP provided cable modem/firewall. I am using a router connected to the ISP provided cable modem/firewall and have allowed port access on my router for my PC and although I have done the same (limited) on the ISP provided device I do not believe it is allowing the pass through.
