Zemana catches the installation file as an infection. After Zeman is disabled, you can execute, but the license key is faulty, you can not register the license …

    Hello Ashraf ! :)
    1) There is an error on the page w the RegKey. It says:
‘You can register VivPDF Editor by going to HELP -> LICENSE from within the program’
So, maybe correct that & verify if method for activation is exact
    2) I thought of buying the programme. Here it says $9.99.
But on the site it says €9.99 :( How do we buy it through SOS, at $9.99 ?
Some times there is a link to buy, even on 100% promos, I couldn’t find it
    3) Can you address previous posters complaints abt
    -Flagged malware
    -RegKey not being accepted

Hope all is well w you & family !!
    Peace

If your antivirus software detects the installation file as infected, this is a false-positive. In previous versions the installer included adware to support the application. Now the application is shareware and therefore is free of any adware or third-party software. However some antivirus still may be detecting the sofware as adware, but now this is false from version 7.1.

If you have problems activating the license, then make sure that you have network connection and the firewall is not blocking the network connection to FileMenu Tools. The application needs to connect to Internet in order to activate the license. If you continue with problemas to activate the license, then please contact with [email protected]

    Hello All
Indeed, Softpedia has a notice on this programme’s page, stating it’s a False Positive.
Same notice on the Portable’s page.

    @Ashraf
I forgot to ask, since I mostly use Portable versions, can I use the RegKey to activate the Portable, instead?
    It wd be brilliant! :)

    Thanks
    Peace

N.B.: Ash, there is a problem w the forum, it keeps rejecting my posts!!!
I need to try & try multiple times to submit, b4 it’s accepted. Yes, I checked the Captcha, no luck !! (snifff …)

    1. “WindowsXP” OK!
    2. If There is an error on the page w the RegKey.
The program suggests downloading the file “license.dat”.
And “says” where to put this file.
The way was such (at me):
C: \ Documents and Settings \ All Users \ Application Data \ LopeSoft \ FileMenu Tools

Yes, FileMenu Tools is officially supported from Windows Vista or later. Therefore Windows XP is not officially supported and there is an issue when activating the license on Windows XP, and it can’t connect with licensing server via HTTPS. However it can be activated manually by downloading the license file.

Downloaded and installed, provided licence key doesn’t work. Message advised to downloaded licence file, placed in the correct folder as advised still won’t recognise licence key

Actually, there’s a free version as well. The limitations are few.
