I’ve used Ashampoo products in the past, and they are excellent!
However, I have requested an Activation key several times through the software as directed, and I haven’t received one yet.
We’re running out of time to get this amazing product, but I can’t move forward until I get that activation key.

What I have been paranoid about is these realtime uninstaller/installation monitors that take a picture of everything going on during the installation. Then when you go to use the monitoring record for uninstallation purposes, it’s stupid–it doesn’t discriminate between files and registry data related to the installation and other things happening on your computer at the same time, and as a result when you uninstall, it causes you huge problems by deleting keys or files that have nothing to do with the program you’re uninstalling.

If it comes with a stern warning not to have any other programs open while it’s monitoring an installation, that tells me it can’t exercise the proper discrimination needed, and I wouldn’t want to fool with the monitoring at all.

I’m going to get the program, but I need to know more before I let it monitor installations.
