There’s a typo on the link to the Genie9 website.
Well, doesn’t work in Windows 10 for me anyways. Didn’t start backing up, said restart and follow instructions. Restarted, and now the prog won’t open at all. Uninstalled
Sorry, but how do you register this software? I received the email with the serial number, after installing the program goes right to a setup series of steps and I don’t see how I can register/enter the serial number.
I had an earlier version of this software I purchased a number of years ago. I stopped using it for some reason I cannot recall and cannot find my registration information to see whether it is still good for this update.
Thank you for the opportunity to have another look at this software.
Can I download the installer and get the key but then use it at some future date – or must I download and use the key before your download expires?

Can I download the installer and get the key but then INSTALL it at some future date – or must I INSTALL with the key before your download expires?Does anyone know if this will replace the Windows backup restore? Or if backup/restore even exists on Win10? I had a similar program in the past which repaced the backup/restore, and when the program itself didn’t work, I had no restore capabilities.

If you select everything to backup with this software and have multiple backup points and decide to restore to a point say a week ago, does this software restore everything and remove the files on your hard drive after that date?
By that I mean for example : “Less say I install a program I don’t want or something that has a virus, if I restore from a restore point 1 week earlier will this REMOVE that program from the hard drive all together? Or will it leave it on the hard drive as a junk file that is just taking up space?”.

The activation key (Licence key) of Genie Timeline (GTL) does not get expired, so you can use it later in the future if you do not want to start with GTL now.

Regarding your concern; yes, there is still a Backup and Restore option in Windows 10.
Also, please be informed that Genie Timeline 2016 (GTL 2016) does not replace the Windows Backup and Restore.
