[ @Ashraf] I downloaded and installed the HD Sentinel. Nothing happened! I installed it again with the same results. When searching for it, all that came up was the program download but nothing else. I even looked in my Revo Uninstaller Pro and it wasn’t there! It looks like a worthwhile program, but if I can’t run it, it isn’t any good to me! Can someone help me???
is this more for a laptop computer?

Why does the installer file contain a crypo zip file called softwareonsalenotifier.exe? This is the kind of behavior I would expect from hackers. Hiding another installer inside another installer. While you might actually install the software you claim you are providing for free, you are also installing your software. No thank you. I have spend enough time keeping hackers from doing that, I don’t need another hiding behind the façade of a “legit” company doing this as well.
[@Tim] Take off your tinfoil hat. We don’t install anything without your permission. Our Download Hub does have our SharewareOnSale Notifier, but that is only installed if you explicitly say ‘Yes’ when asked. You can easily say ‘No’. (We force you to pick yes or no, there is no prechecked option or the like.)

Standard version doesn’t include greatest option – “Read + Write + Read” Disk Surface Test (non-destructive disk surface repair, while PRESERVING DATA), so i keep my older version of Pro installed.
