ZERO GPU acceleration… the AI models in this program run inefficiently on the main CPU one so far unique option offered by this AI upscaler is x3 upscale, usually they x2,x4,x8 and no odd magnifications. I was able to upscale relatively quickly a 16Kx16K png to a 48kx48kpng, while it failed to preview the results, it did generate a file whose dimension other AI enlargers baulked at. It even produced 64Kx64K png from same file… and again was unable to preview the output but it did generate the output so, lets go for broke and put the 64Kx64K as input file and see how big I can go… ignoring the limitations of the preview method used. I note it defaults to forcing the output to be the logged in users Desktop folder and DOES NOT SAVE THE OUTPUT FOLDER PREFERENCE after changing it to a sensible location like the logged in users Pictures folder as only idiots want to dumb millions of images on their desktop! Note you have to X out of the activate window… hitting OK button does not dismiss the window and does not yet activate the program… you have to exit the program and then re-start it for the license status to change, It wont accept input images here larger than 16Kx16K but did process a x4 with just a failure to show a preview of the output file which is viewable in 64bit image viewers like Irfanview64bit and consumes 12.288GBytes of RAM just to hold the image in memory uncompressed. It has some GUI design errors, the Select, Clear, Browse and Stop buttons are all not tall enough to fully render the fonts used for the text labels. And of course the method used to render the input and output images previews appears to be based on 32bit mathematics so cannot render large images. This final one caught me out as I restarted to apply the license but forgot to reset the output folder to a sane location so the 64Kx64K output PNG file was dumped onto my desktop… that will be deleted shortly. retrying the largest possible using LapSRN (multi-scale) x8 mode on 16K input… this will really push it to the limit. End result will be bigger uncompressed than I have system RAM. didn’t work oh well still produces the biggest enlargement I’ve seen so far. AND no download of AI model inferences is required. Way more efficient than leawo photoins photo enlarger module. And far less destructive to systems SSD. When it’s bugs are fixed it will be desirable… I’ll keep it for now. But will replace it when the full release version is offered.

[@missed it] Seems to have been free at least on Aug 30, 2026. Weirdly i missed that offer too and also look daily for new giveaways. Sometimes older giveaways keep being listed as current giveaways on the main page while there is another one that might be newer never replacing the older one. Happened a few times in the past. So better is to check WINDOWS -> GIVEAWAYS / FREEBIES directly instead of only looking on the main page.

I don’t think it will be free again on S0S anytime soon.
