The license works with jAlbum 14.1. If there is a problem, please contact our support at [email protected]. We won’t be monitoring this forum regularly.

    1) “Jalbum” runs in “Windows XP SP3”, only you need to run the “JAlbum.jar” file.
    2) Loaded Skins from the site, you need to transfer it with the mouse in the program window.
    3) Many thanks for the program

Two quickie questions before downloading and giving this a try:
    1. I see you have to “create an account” with jAlbum; what does this entail? Can I make multiple galleries uploaded to my own websites?
    2. Will these albums work with browsers (or mobiles) that don’t allow Java? JavaScript? Does it use jQuery? Just want to make sure that folks will be able to see the albums even if using a phone or tablet.

    Thanks!

    1. With the license we give away you can upload to your own website. If you need our storage you have to buy our Premium or Power storage.

    2. There is no browser that allows Java by default… So that is of course not a requirement for watching the created albums. And since Flash is dying none of our current skins requires that. If JavaScript is required depends on the skin/template you select for you album. And some uses jQuery. But that’s just JavaScript. Our most popular skins are responsive, so they work well on mobiles and tablets. Check out the albums at https://jalbum.net/en/explore/popular if you want to have some examples.

I have two questions for its developers or anyone knowing jAlbum:

Does the program or some skins
    1/ support animated GIFs?
    2/ support transparency?

Thank you in advance to whomever can give me an answer.

If you bypass jAlbums scaling and JPEG creation and use the original file (right click the thumbnail in the editor) you can have transparent PNG’s and animated GIFs in the album. If you let jAlbum scale the image it will always be a non-transparent JPEG.

I have not tried this out extensively yet but my initial reaction is that it is worth downloading if you want to present your photos in an online album. You need to pay for storage from JAlbum or have an alternative online storage solution. I had a registration issue and contacted the vendor, they sorted that out for me, so kudos to them.

Time to play the infernal street signs game!

When I install jAlbum, all the menus, etc. are incredibly small. Can it be customised to increase the sizes so it can be used without a magnifying glass? The ‘fonts’ setting does not affect this. Thanks!

Hello, I have a little problem with the download of jAlbum.
I can not pass the “Give it to me now” step, Firefox & internet explorer tell me: “Please complete the CAPATCHA If you do not see it, enable JavaScript or disable script blocking add-ons . ” Purpose java script is active and I do not use script blocker. So I can not download jAlbum. Could you do something to help me ?
    Thank you in advance.

I have been a registered user with jalbum for many years, both free version and more recently purchased version. My license expired in Jul 2017, and when I installed this version, it shows my registration information and does not have an option to enter the new UIC. Should I detach my old registration in order to register this one?

If you are using Windows on a HiDPI screen you have to use jAlbum 15 to get a proper sized UI. It is first in Java 9 that Oracle supported HiDPI screens on Windows and Java 9 wasn’t available when we released jAlbum 14.1.
