However, I have a question – how to install the portable version 8.2.5 on USB flash drive, disk, etc. ?
Now I have a message ” The desktop version can’t be run from a removable drive “.
Otherwise – is there a portable version?Just a quick question.
Doesn’t this make access to your files dependable on the software?
So if you have to reinstall your system, you won’t be able to access your own encrypted files until you reinstall Kryptel?
And then, if you don’t have a paid licence, you’ll have to buy one no matter how expensive if you want your files back?The site doesn’t even mention it’s price.
And yes, there is a free version, but not sure what its limitations are, and if there will still be a free version in the future.That’s why I hesitate to install software like this.
…unless someone can explain to me that my thoughts are completely wrong about this and I just worry to much.I’m worried about how it is with a new installation. Does the program then work with the received key? Or do I have to buy the program to get my encrypted data? Questions over questions. I think I’d rather stick with Veracrypt. Free and very good.
No free updates; if you update the giveaway, it may become unregistered.
What happens if you accidentally push the update button, are your encrypted files still available to you?
That’s why it’s a good idea to have a USB pendrive in reserve in case of problems.

On the official site of InvSoftworks, there is only one portable version of Kryptel from 21.02.2020 /v5.3.2/
on which this registration key from the promotion . . .Not Valid !?Thanks for the offer. I will stick with the free and open-source Cryptomator. It is cross-platform compatible (Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android, and iOS) and there is a portable version as well.
