A couple of points. I installed this program on Windows 10 Pro. Every time I run it, this error message appears:

Component ‘mscomctl.ocx’ not correctly registered: file is missing or invalidFix this error?
Yes NoAfter I agree to fix it, the program will run. But then the error message appears again the next time.
The second off-putting thing is the way the program has been ostentatiously named ModusDoc 7.4 Giveaway. I don’t want to look at that titlebar shouting “unprofessional! cheapskate!” at me whenever I use it.
Developer, please note that this finger waving doesn’t encourage me to give the program a trial and buy it later; it just makes me uninstall it.
[@Julia] mscomctl.ocx is component of Windows. It is registered in the system during the installation of the program. In your case, this did not happen. Try registering it manually.
Первый вопрос: у меня также при запуске программы появляется всплывающее окно Component ‘mscomctl.ocx’ not correctly registered. Ручная регистрация компонента результатов не дала.
Второй вопрос: можно ли получить отдельно ключ Giveaway, чтобы его использовать для русской версии данной программы.[@Nadin] Версия Giveaway только английская.
Если ручная регистрация не помогла, то причину сказать пока не могу. У меня на всех компьютерах, начиная с Win2000, и до Win10 последней сборки проблем никогда не возникало.
