I suspect its because I registered a while ago with a previous version of the program because when I used a different email address they sent an email with the link to the licence key. Why didn’t they say in the conditions the offer is for new customers only??????

Probably because it isn’t: I used the same email address to obtain the current offer (version 12) as I used to obtain two previous offers (v11 and v9) here on SoS.

I did notice several years ago that O&O never replied to my regular email address (I’m pretty sure that my ISP was not quietly discarding their replies, though later did find out that this sometimes could occur; more likely, though, the O&O ISP had blackballed my ISP’s domain for some reason – that can happen in international communications and I’ve encountered it with Germany before), so I started using a gmail address with them and have had no problems since.

I have tried a few times over the past few days to get the free licence key, but I put my email address in the box on the linked webpage and press the button, but it never goes to the confirmation page and I have received no emails from O & O
