This program has been offered many times over the years. It is popular. I have tried it but I can’t see going through all the effort to change over from LastPass. Anyone want to offer some insight on this?

Anybody who can help answer the following questions will be helpful to all here:
    1:
Does it have an expiration date? If it does then I do not want it.
    2:
Where are my passwords stored? On my PC or in the cloud? I prefer on my PC as I do not trust the cloud with my passwords as there are many security issues all the time. Just imagine if all your secure passwords are stolen……you are doomed.
    3:
On how many PCs can I install this program? It better be more than one just to be practical.
    Thank you in advance.

I just found our from an online search that this license is ONLY FOR ONE YEAR.
This sucks and I will not get this program.
ASHRAF: YOU MUST MAKE IT VERY CLEAR WHAT THE TIME OFFER IS ON WHAT YOU OFFER.
YOU MUST BE UPFRONT WITH US.

Interestinglly, simple answers to the questions you asked would likely not be useful to anyone who didn’t know enough about Sticky Password to make an intelligent decision. To understand why, I suggest that you visit their Web site and pay particular attention to the relatively few differences between their Premium version and the free version to which the Premium version reverts after 1 year.

Whether the following qualifies as insight I don’t know, but my main problem with Last Pass is what seems to be lack of interest in it by its new owner, since if support is withdrawn it’s not clear that you could just continue using your existing version forever, especially on new machines you might want to move it to (unlike, e.g., the open-source KeePass variants).

As far as I can determine a somewhat similar concern applies to Sticky Password, which seems to state that a Sticky Password Account is required for all use even though off-line use is possible for most common activities. That’s my main reason for preferring the KeePass family. Otherwise Sticky Password seems quite attractive and better suited to novices than KeePass variants are, though its simplicity does mean that things like password histories (of earlier password versions) aren’t maintained and without trying it I don’t know how readily it accommodates multiple browser instances (e.g., if a given browser is not only installed but also exists in multiple portable versions some of which may execute simultaneously – though other password managers may have problems in such areas as well).

    Linux support would be nice.

Thought I would add something to this: I have been using shareware on sale for over three years now and I installed Sticky Password quite sometime ago. Liked it so much (support is great) that I ended up buying lifetime license. I still enjoyed it up until yesterday. I recently switched from chrome to firefox as I really like what firefox has been doing recently and love the fact that my bookmarks can be had on all my devices with a touch of a button. Yesterday, firefox disabled stickypassword and webroot security in the browser for firefox’s recent upgrade and they now do not support any extension that does not qualify for this upgrade. I am very disappointed in this and have written to sticky password and webroot to notify them of this. I am now hoping that both correct the problem and soon.

So let me get this straight – a browser you are using changed something AGAIN such that some plugins no longer work, and you are blaming the plugin developers for this problem? Seriously?

For the record, I finally stopped using Firefox for this exact reason – many of their endless (seems like weekly) ‘updates’ break stuff left and right, and they always just profess total innocence and refuse to acknowledge any issues caused by their non-stop rewriting of their less than stable code. After years of it, I had enough. Not that Chrome is so fantastic, but at least updates don’t break and then disable endless plugins, and they don’t appear weekly (or even more often).
