Hi, Dimma. Network verification is necessary otherwise we can not check whether the users have the right to access our service. We need money to keep on improving it.

    Hope you can understand us.
    Thanks

    Hi All,
I have installed and registered the program successfully, but it is unable to search for any word, if I type any word in the search box the result is ” Your search -XXXX- did not match any documents.

Of course I am sure that all words are spelled correctly and the search range also correctly !!!!

    Please advise
    Thank you

Did anybody here ask himself, why this program works only online, and cannot work offline, knowing that all similar programs can work normally without connecting the internet.
When the program works online only, This is a clear violation of privacy, especially since the program is able to access all documents on the computer
I am sorry to say that I do not trust this program and think that a program is designed to violate privacy

    .
[@Zest Company], thanks for explaining that the 3 or 4 hits your programs receive at VirusTotal are false positives, that is very reassuring.

    Not.

Every programmer has ONE GOAL before product release — survive VirusTotal unscathed with 0 hits.

Hey, that’s the universe into which you voluntarily decided to enter.

Try gardening or shoe sales if programming it too hard.

Do you want to succeed, or do you want to continue to fail and have to explain why you continue to fail?

Not that you did explain why you fail.

So, why do you have 3 or 4 hits at VirusTotal — what are you doing that you cannot learn to reprogram so as not to appear malicious?

Sorry, we cannot offer the offline version, which will make us hard of verify the validity of users.
The network connection only verifies the user registration.

You can see X1 search software (similar feature, but much more expensive), also use network connection to do that.

    Thanks, Peter.
We are trying our best to make our program pass those virus tests. We know from code source, this must be the error of virus company rather than ours. It needs time to negotiate with them. Some virus companies may even ask payment to remove false positive (which we cannot afford).

We spent more than three years to develop this complicated software, so it is impossible let trajon hurt its reputation.
You can see Softnoic and other famous software site has included this new software for a long time. If there is some virus in it, somebody will report it and those sites will remove them in the Internet.

Anyway, we will make efforts to pass the virus tests.

    Zest Company,

    There is a solution!

    Use individual keys
    with a limited license period!
    You will develop!
    ————————————————–
Not that good, if – your server does not work
and the user does not have Internet and he cannot register your program.

    Zest Company,

I’m sorry, I forgot to say.

First Name + Last Name + User Email + Use individual keys with a limited license period + HardwareId
    ——————————————————————————————————-
    Example .Offline activation software

online key – xxxx xxxx xxxx

Offline key – xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxxx
    ——————————————————————–
    HardwareId \ Machine Code
    ———————————————-

    https: //www. idiskhome. com/redir. php/main/offline

Looked good at a glance, but Peter says it has coodies… no thanks.

I’m using “Search Everything” by VoidTools for filename instant results across networks shares included, and I’m using DocFetcher for “content” searches within files.

    Both outstanding, both free.

I did some more digging on this to make sure I wasn’t being too harsh the first time….
    So I tested it thoroughly.

Had trouble reading the results, so I modified the “settings” “fonts” and “highlight colors”. ? No change ? Can’t seem to get this to work for me, and can’t read the painful chicken scratch in the results window.

This is a great start for the devs, but it lacks so much that is already in other free apps…

If I’m looking for something, I would certainly want to search inside .zip files…. no can do.
This only searches for the filenames of .zip files, says so, and testing proves that.

A serious search program would include looking in .zip files. DocFetcher does, so that’s my tool.

I have saved many an hour by people helping me not get caught up in frustrating startups, so I hope this helps someone.

Last question. Why would a company give you a 3 year license? If it’s worth buying, 1 year trial is enough, then it should be paid for if you like it, and you’re using it.

    Just a thought…

Thanks much for careful testing on our software.

    1. Good suggestion for result font size. We will definitely add the font size tunning feature soon. Current font size is for right preview window.

    2. zip file content search. In fact, it is easy for us to implement such feature, however, how to display in consistent UI would be a chanllege, which is easily to make user confused. We will consider it seriously.

    3. Everything is good tool we respect much and leaen much from it. DocFetch is not that good in fact, you do not test it deeply, it will omit results in some cases, just like system file search in Windows 7/10. Also other drawbacks in UI. That is why there are many existing commercial content search tools even docFectch is free. But free tool may be enough in many cases, anyway.

    4. thanks for posing price opinion for us, we will consider providing one year license in future.

Thanks again for your help, sincerely.
