Matthew HancockGuestI have download the installer. As usual your installer says download then run. But it does not run and I cannot install it.
grandboboGuestThis is a .zip that you download
Search UnHackMe.zip in C:\Users\..\AppData\Local\TempjaykGuestWarning. Before attempting to download this new version of Unhackme, I decided to uninstall the previous version, but neither Revo, or a few other uninstallers listed Unhackme or Greatis among my installed programs. So, I decided to use Unhackme’s own uninstall file included in the program.
Big mistake!!!
It uninstall itself, but it left a whole bunch of files in the registry!!!On top of that some entries in the registry cannot be deleted no matter how many times you try.
Very bad program. This issue makes me very suspicious about Unhackme. Why am I unable to delete these files and for what purpose are they left in the registry?!!!!jboyGuestWarning. Just FYI, I use Soft Organizer and the software is listed as an installed program there. I can’t say why Revo does not show it.
jboyGuestI had a previous version and found it fairly useless as the scans would run forever and there is no status letting you know how far it has gotten or how much longer there is to go. When it does finally end, there are numerous pages listing the ‘dangerous’ results which, of course, you have to go through and read line by line before you choose to take any action so as not to remove anything that should not be removed, which, from my experience anyway, happens to be all/most of the results! Some may find the software worthwhile but it is not for me.
I thought it might be worth having the portable version on-hand in case of a future hacking problem but the license from here does not work in that version. Oh well.
Thanks for the offer anyway, much appreciated!
jbGuestWARNING !!!!!!!!!!
I used a previous “free as a gift” version of this tool and if you upgrade the software becomes unregistered, obviously.
THE TRICK IS you cannot prevent the software to upgrade unless you tell it to not upgrade EVERIDAY !!!!! You have to dismiss the installer for the new version everiday.
Plus the tool is heavy on computer ressources because it keeps scanning the computer.
anonyGuestThe registration code is for a free copy. I could get a free copy without putting in a register code. It is listed on installed programs as a giveaway (if you can’t find it).
jaykGuest[@jboy]
Hi jboy.Let’s forget about Revo.
What bothers me here and makes me suspicious about this software, is the fact that I am unable to delete some registry entry of Unhackme despite my many attempts. That leads me to to believe that those entries have been “hacked” by Unhackme in such a way, that they cannot be removed at all!!!d adamsGuestIt will be interesting to see if the publisher has been paying attention to previous user comments and made changes to the program to address them. After all, that is the purpose of the giveaways. Let users try the program and learn from their experiences with the program. If there is no progress bar or any way to track how long a scan will take to finish… add a way. If there are numerous false positives… improve the way it scans to avoid the false positives. There must be some improvements since the program was first offered. I will wait to hear from others before I risk my system to it.
Coon HoundGuestWell as always you stupid sand nigger, you gave us shit and this time IT’S REAL SHITWARE.
DO NOT INSTALL it adds to registry and you can’t undo it.
GARBAGE HACKWARE as always Ashraf also known around here as ASSHAT you fucked us with your SHIT.
Do a computer restore and never come back here to ASSHAT land.
Jesús GGuestGreat program to solve any type of infection, very thorough, automatic or manual operations. Highly recommended.
Brian DiPietrantonioGuestAfter I downloaded program I could not get it to install.
Peter BlaiseGuestAshraf, please remove [@Coon Hound] and post #16392337 and ban them and their IP for life.
Thank you.
I’m sorry and sad that there are hurt-people out there.
.Peter BlaiseGuestYes, [@d adams], if and when I have ever run [ UnHackMe ], I had to go away for a day between steps to have any confidence that it finished a particular step, then I had to carefully take the time to read each line, one at a time, of endless lines of results, stop and Google-search any unknowns ( yeah, open an Internet browser and portal during an infection scan, oh my! ), try to figure out what to ignore or what to take action on, then tell UnHackMe to take the next step, and then I had to go away for another day, come back the next day, and review that next step, and so on … by the time I thought that it might be finished, I dunno, windering if I have to reboot a couple of times or not, I had absolutely no idea what had transpired over the course of days, and I gave up, I rebooted in [ Safe Mode ], I used free [ MSConfig ] and free SysInternals [ AutoRuns ] and other free tools to remove any active participation of [ UnHackMe ] from my computer, then I rebooted in [ Normal Mode ], and moved on with my life, sorry and sad for the meaningless loss of time to no productive advantage.
Alternatives:
– Free [ JRT Junk Removal Tool v8.1.0.4 2017-07-10 ], I know it’s getting old, but it still works, and quickly ( it was acquired by Malwarebytes and killed ), there are other free tools from BleepingComputer, I especially like [ Temp File Cleaner by Old Timer ], too.
– Free [ AdWCleaner ] now from Malwarebytes, also reasonably quick, the only Malwarebytes product of any value anymore, it’s also something they acquired, not something they invented, BUT beware of it dinging other utilities that are competitive to Malwarebytes, like IObit and Auslogics, so uncheck them in the results to keep them, or else Malwarebytes will remove the competition ( ! ), AND beware to uncheck the [ Settings ], [ Basic Repair Actions ] that control networking, because they will isolate our network computers from each other, and prevent our own intentional sharing in-house, and it may require removing and re-installing all network drivers and networking protocols to re-establish in-house networking – Malwarebytes protection is overkill, but hey, they can claim maximum safety, I suppose.
– Free [ Super Anti Spyware ] takes a long time but shows us what it’s doing and we can easily toggle what’s going to be deleted from the results list of what’s found.
– Free [ Spybot Search & Destroy v1 ], v2 sux, but v1 still works neat and clean, shows what it’s doing, and allows quick toggle of what to kill or keep.
Note: I use all programs that I suggest here as terminating when done, none are resident when I am using my computer normally, I only run them to accomplish a task, then I kill them and reboot, and they are gone from active memory.
I am exploring free [ Kerish Doctor ] as an active program because it watches insertions, and offers immediate blocking, seems -w-a-y- more user friendly and PC friendly than not-free Symantec Norton Security, not free Intel McAfee Security, or any other program I’ve tried, please explore and share your own findings, folks – thanks.

Sadly, [ UnHackMe ] has never matured to have sophisticated intelligence, it doesn’t seem to know what to do, and it depends on the user interpreting anything and everything found in an endless set of list results that seem to include everything in the metropolitan area.
Nor does [ UnHackMe ] have a user interface that is standard with universal program presentations established since the first IBM PC programs, and even most Windows programs ( before ribbon craziness and free-floating un-resizable popups ).
Sorry Dmitry, but it’s time for a complete re-write of the user interface, which few programers enjoy because it takes 80% of their programming time, way more than the efforts put into the underlying active programming.
You may by now intuitively understand your own program’s inner workings and the meaning of anything on screen, but as this discussion thread shows, newbies, folks familiar with other programs, cannot figure out what’s going on in [ UnHackMe ], and we are not invited in by the program to try to figure it out.
You have the opposite problem that Spybot Search & Destroy has.
Spybot Search & Destroy went from standard-and-easy v1, to random-and-confusing v2.
You have the opportunity to go from random-and-confusing UnHackMe v1-through-11, to standard-and-easy UnHackMe v12, please return here to let us help you with that.
Thanks for exploring this and sharing.
