[@ELS] Mac version is not available today. I believe we have it scheduled for a bit later on MacAppsOnSale.

Looks like the installer adds the Ask toolbar to your browser, changes your search engine, changes your home page, and other nasty stuff. I’m going nowhere near it.

As I see this is a fine piece of software. I use a long time TVideo Downloader, but I’ll try the VideoGet. However, I have a question: how to disable auto-updater? I couldn’t find how. It’s fairly useless if that option can’t be disabled (considering that the free licence will turn into a trial).

@Irena Thank you for your reply.

At least in my case the Apowersource audio driver was installed along with the rest of the VideoGet files contained in the installation program. Per your request I sent the pertinent parts of my post above to the Nuclear Coffee Support Group.

Correction — The audio driver I was talking about in my previous posts is Apowersoft not Apowersource. I regret any confusion that this error may have caused.

[@Irena] Thanks for the quick reply. Good to know for sure that it won’t revert to trial. Now to be more of a PITA, How long will we receive these updates for? Thanks in advance!

    Double Correction:

My apologies to Irena and anyone else who read my posts.
I mixed up VideoGet from Video Streaming Recorder, which is the program that I had the audio problem with. Please ignore all my posts on this discussion Group.

[@Jeff] Dear Jeff, I’m sorry to hear that, however VideoGet installer doesn’t contain any 3rd party software. I suggest you to check it more carefully. In addition please ensure that these recommended other softwares weren’t added during installation of another program you may downloaded before or after VideoGet. Have a nice day!
