[@AussiePete] A 1-year offer gives plenty of time to test it out see if it adds to your life. The price is low enough that at the end of the year, if you can’t get by without it, you won’t blow your 2019 Christmas budget to get a full license. I much prefer free forever, but developers need to make money too! For a more complex program, they can offer a free version that’s older or has limited features, so you have an enticement to buy the newer full version. I don’t think that would work for a simple one-job program like Volume Concierge.
