I got the 3 year plan, and I am happy with it. I switched over from Perfect Privacy whose service is very rich, complex and bit a bit on the loyal side of the dollar. Switching to Windscribe was painless, and I found the service a lot more easier to understand and use. I felt like I want from looking at the cabin of a 747 to a cabin of a commuter plane. There is so much less you need to adjust and maintain. Trackstop was a feature that kept me with Perfect Privacy, but even the anti-adblockers would have none of it. If you want to bypass anti-adblockers, just the Tor browser with Adguard (not saying it has to be Adguard, but I never experimented with anything else).

When I from from free to paid (or Pro), I found a server less than a hundred miles from me, and another within 250. The speed was as good or better than what I got with Perfect Privacy where I had to connect to a server over 500 miles away.

Clearly, Windscribe has less bells an whistles than the more expensive, alternative ones. But, it has things that the others don’t or it does better. It has a firewall, for example that isn’t found with some of the best ones. One their website, there is a comparison chart of most the major common VPNs, and how it fairs better than them. Perfect Privacy wasn’t included, but it definitely beat them in price.

Windscribe isn’t for the pros. Windscribe is for the beginners and intermediate. However, for the Pros, this would be a good backup. Get the 3 year or unlimited plan from Stack Social which makes the pricing worth it.
