Perinteinen Yliopiston almanakka ilmestyi ensi kerran suomeksi vuonna 1705. Ennen vuotta 1996 sen nimenä oli Almanakka. Almanakka sisältää suomalaisen kalenterin juhlapäivät, suomalaiset nimipäivät aakkosellisena listana, kirkollisten pyhien tekstit, kuun vaiheet sekä auringon nousu- ja laskuajat Helsingissä, Jyväskylässä, Oulussa, Sodankylässä ja Utsjoella. Mobiilisovellus kertoo myös auringon nousu- ja laskuajat käyttäjän sijainnin mukaan. Sovellus tarkistaa nimipäivät myös omista yhteystiedoista, jotta osaa onnitella nimipäiväsankaria. Voit lisätä muistiinpanoja päiville ja asettaa niille muistutuksen. Voit myös asentaa Widgetin aloitusnäytölle, josta näet päivän tiedot ilman sovelluksen käynnistämistä.

Almanakassa on runsaasti aineistoa:
- Suomalaiset ja suomenruotsalaiset nimipäivät
- Täsmäsäätiedot käyttäjän sijainnin mukaan sekä 14 päivän sääennusteet
- Juhla- ja liputuspäivät
- Tietoa edellisen vuoden suosituimmista etunimistä ja nimitrendeistä
- Kalenterivuoden markkina- ja toripäivät
- Teemapäivät ja tapahtumat vuodelle 2018
- Henkilökohtaiset muistiinpanot valitsemaasi kalenteriin

Sovellus on tehty yhteistyössä HiQ Finlandin kanssa.Traditional university's almanac for the first time appeared in Finnish in 1705. Prior to 1996 it was called Almanac. Almanac includes a Finnish calendar holidays, Finnish name days alphabetical List, religious holy texts, moon phases, as well as sunrise and sunset times at Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Finland, Sodankylä and Utsjoki. The mobile app also tells you sunrise and sunset times for the user's location. The application checks the name of the days also own contact information in order to able to congratulate the name day hero. You can add notes to the days and set them a reminder. You can also install a widget to your home screen, which you can see today's data without launching the application.
 
The almanac is a wealth of material:
  - Finnish and Finnish-Swedish name days
  - Täsmäsäätiedot the user's location, as well as 14 day weather forecasts
  - Banquet and flag-raising
  - Information on the previous year and the first names of the most popular name trends
  - Calendar year of market and market days
  - Theme days and events for 2018
  - Personal notes of the selected calendar
