doesn’t work with firefox. good for chrome as that does not allow you to download movies. but worthless with Opera, Maxthon and Firefox. Nice mp4 conversion to Flac for music.

I use Firefox and this programme works perfectly for me. I’ve downloaded hundreds of videos and haven’t struck any problems. If you have a ‘series’ of videos, you only need to download the first video. This will be detected by the programme and you’ll be asked if you want to download just the single file or the whole series. I’ve just download a series of 187 videos – all with one click. It really is a great programme and easily beats 4K Video Downloader by a country mile !
The Bigasoft developer has crippled this software deliberately against users who are on the XP OS. There are 11.4% world wide XP users. In the help file it says the VideoRecorder automatically records, but System audio recording is not supported on the Microsoft Windows XP operating system.
That means the software is rigged so that if you are using XP, then your video capture recording off the PC screen will have no sound.
Is this BAD? Yes. It is pandering to the Microsoft company to force users to “upgrade” to Windows 7 or 8 or 10.
I will show you how to over come this insane crippling of a software product by its own software developer who wanted to make Microsoft happy. What happens is that if you are using XP, the software detects this and during installation, changes your Sound Device input from Stereo Mix to Mic.
You cannot record audio off the PC system audio recording. There is no sound.
Just go into Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Click on Audio Tab > look for Sound Recording > click on Volume > a new Recording Options window opens – the Mic is pre-selected. You just click on [Select] for Stereo Mix. Then you can record audio even if you use XP OS.
Is this INSANE? Yes. That a software developer would purposely cripple/destroy his own product in this way for one particular group of users (XP OS).
Just to make Microsoft happy? To force people to “upgrade” to the buggy and crash prone Windows 10?
Bigasoft Total Video Converter is very user friendly and a task-master. It works on most u-tube files. I doubt if other programs are able to handle these tasks so well. I believe this Bigasoft Video Downloader to be dependable and I am very pleased with this.

I don’t know what you think, but I believe Bigasoft Video Download Pro would’ve been more fun if there was a plugin to let me capture my videos off the browser at a click.

The intuitive UX coupled with the seamlessly working features make it an impressive app that extends the functionality of a simple video downloader with innovative ideas like the inclusion of the file format converter and video recorder.
