Reviews for PC Trek Advanced Password Recovery Suite
Just tried this. Mixed results for me – I’m using Windows 10 and Office and it picked up those. But none of the other software on the PC (and I have a lot) was discovered (things like Lightroom, Corel, PhotoShop were not discovered). The browser sites and passwords worked well but no email (and I have a lot of those) were recovered and no FTP login details (and I’m uploading weather data every 5 seconds to 6 different weather sites.) It did pick up my wireless but picked up open SSID names that do not exist.
Not worth the download in my view.
This application found everything, and then some. Very nice interface and quick response.
Thanks!
Works just fine but not necessary
Actually, you can just do one or all of these things and never need to touch this software
– Use password manager. There a lot good and free password manager out there.
– Export passwords from browsers (and merge them, remove duplicates if you know how to do it).
– For other software, games, write your password in notepad, sticky note, write on a piece of paper
– Then store it on your computer, removeable drives, cloud drives, or print everything out and put it in a folder
– Make sure you remember where you put them, and the password to access them (in case you encrypted it)
– Use “Forgot password” button/link
Maybe some more but idk/forgot
Almost totally useless.
Only got Key for Windows 10, Office and Wifi. For over 500 identified Firefox saved logins: password – blank. None for Microsoft Edge or Chrome.
Only 5 for over 100 installed programs.
Does not get windows login password. did try to scan my network didn’t show any items. was good on browser web pages, shows all the places you go to regardless if needs a password. Not sure how helpful this will be but will keep in case need.

It says nowhere in the description that it gets windows login passwords. And if you have LAN connection, sure it wont display any items for network because that’s different than wireless connection. About browsers probably you have chosen not to save those logins and that is why it reports an empty or blank spaces for passwords.
If you saved passwords in your browser(s), then just export them. Or just search for the one you need, and click on the eye icon, enter your windows password, use your fingerprint, your face, your PIN, click on some point on a picture, etc. And you are good. No software needed.
About wifi password, you can find it just by search google for some tutorials, use some free software. Done
About windows password. How can you forgot something you uses everyday. If it on very old computers, your fault for not having backups. Plus, there are tools to fix it. And while you can’t boot to that OS, your data is safe on your drive. And If you just don’t need that OS anymore, neither any paid softwares attached to that OS, backup your personal files, use other computer, and wipe the drive completely. Install new OS, set new password. Done
