The app is intended to be a solid introduction to the French language with detailed information about the rules and grammar of the language. Currently the app is made up of 280 lessons of two pages each. The first page has a few short sentences, phrases, or words in English. A button plays the material in French. The second page has a written section of the material in French, a literal translation of the French and a short section of explanation of the text. There is also a button to replay the audio as many times as you want. The first 200 recordings have been made by a native of Marseilles. The app includes French text and audio from the novel 'Salammbo' by Gustave Flaubert, the story 'Miss Pearl' (Mademoiselle Perle) by Guy de Maupassant, the story 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' (Le Chien des Baskerville) by Arthur Conan Doyle, and the novel 'Around the World in Eighty Days' (Le tour du monde en quatre-vingts jours) by Jules Verne.
