THE AUTHOR: Robert Whitaker has spent his clinical career as a paediatric urological surgeon. He also teaches clinically applied anatomy to surgical, radiological and other speciality trainees and is a former examiner for the MRCS at the English and Edinburgh Colleges of Surgeons.
