Description

The 'Musical Advent Calendar' plays the beginning of a German Christmas song, when clicked on one of the 24 calendar's doors. Therefore, the beginning of 24 different Christmas songs can be played. By clicking on the upcoming image, the song can be replayed as often as wanted. The calendar works in portrait- and landscape format.
The programming and sound creation was done by Juergen Grund, using the freeware software of 'SlidePiano', Version 5, by Thomas Erne and 'Audacity', Version 1.2.6.
The design of the calendar (background image) was created by Juergen Grund. The yellow moon, Santa Claus and the reindeers were taken from 'The Big Box of Art' by Hemera Technologies Inc.
The images behind the doors were taken from 'The Big Box of Art', Version 3.5, by Hemera Technologies Inc.
According to GEMA, the played Christmas songs are licence-free.
