Thumb Drum is not just a run of the mill drum kit or music app it is what we’ve coined here at Live 2 Learn Differently the “Thumb Drum”, we incorporate educational methods to teaching music and colors within this app for young children and children and teens with special needs. Studies have shown that we often see a correlation or relate sounds to colors and vice versa for different reasons. We have used studies with children and adults to decide the color of each part of our drum kit, to make it more interesting and relate-able. Music has also been known to help and motivate the memory portions and activities within our brain.
