The symbolism remains very faithful to the original, but the art is more refined. The deck’s palette of colors is both lighter and brighter than the RWS. Subtle shadings and occasional changes in perspective give the images a more photorealistic appearance. Universal Tarot offers a more polished, sophisticated interpretation of the RWS deck.
