The quantity values are used to make the calculation of the weight and volume of several elements (for example if you have to load a truck or a slab with 10 beams)
the app will give you the volume of the single beam, the total volume, and the total load. If you put the volume quantity = 1, and the load is a single beam or floor etc.
The maximum load value is used to check that you do not exceed a control loading you have set.
For example, if a truck or a floor has a maximum capacity of 5000 kg (value that you have set to maximum load) and entering 10 beams, they weigh a total of 6,000 kg, then the value will give a check becoming red and blink because your available flow is less than the weight you've calculated (the truck or the floor is overloaded). If the total load is less than 5000 kg (therefore less of the capacity), the value will be green and not flashing.
You can calculate the volumes for the following materials:
- Concrete
- Cement
- Steel
- Wood pine / Douglas
- Chestnut Wood / Larch
- Beech / Ash Wood
- Stainless steel
- Cast iron
- Aluminium
- Cement mortar
- Limestone compact
- Limestone tender
- Granite
- Plaster
- Solid masonry
- Hollow bricks
- Glass
- Fresh water
- Salt water
- Sand
- Asphalt
- Clay compacted
