[@Larry] If you mean “watermark”, yes, it can mark and unmark, create or omit passwords,–inbrief, it can do anything you want to do in pdf conversion.
(I’m not the developer’s mother, btw, just a very satisfied customer.

[@Larry] No idea. Download the trial, test it, and then buy if you like it.

[@das.jiva] Thanks for the feedback :-)

[@jivadas] I should add that I have not tested all its features.
I have tested its fast conversion. All you do is right-click the file to get a dd.menu with options to compress or not or email or I forget what else.
You can rename the pdf to distinguish it from the Word orig.
It can accomodate many Eur. languages, but sadly it does not (yet?) support Indic scripts,
    which it ought to.
I have tried all the available PDF converters. That’s how I learned to dodge crapware, and, in one case, malware (or sneakware, where they plant an update link).
My only complaint is that it disappears when converting a very large file, so you’re not sure it is working; but it soon shows its progress bar.
And I do not like the Adobe connection, but AABBY stands between me and the mud-brick hut.

    Merry Xmas to all!

[@Ashraf] Answered my own question: I forgot that I DID try this program out (version 3.0) back in October thru BitsDuJour. It was being given away free, then. I left the following note to myself: “Installs a “Licensing Service” that runs in the background using up resources, whether or not PDF Transformer is being used. Then when we do use their program, it calls home with-who-knows-what information. This program really isn’t free….we’re being watched and monitored.”

I’m posting this as a FYI. If you wish to remove it, I won’t be offended. As long as you are made aware of this, that’s all I’m hoping to achieve, here.

[@CJ Cotter] Do you mean does it need an active internet connection to register? Beats me, ask ABBYY.

Does this program have to “call home” to register?
