My Security Bubble will "light up" your Smartphone if any report is made concerning any event within about a one mile radius of your current location - WORLDWIDE. It's to your advantage to know about and avoid certain ongoing situations near you. Here’s how My Security Bubble (actually, YOUR Security Bubble) works: First, you download the Application. Then, you activate the application by completing the sign-up process. You make sure that you “Allow” notifications and location information on the settings page of your Smartphone. You then start the application on your Smartphone and leave it running in the background anytime your Smartphone is turned on. My Security Bubble will notify you within seconds if anybody in your immediate area makes a report. If you have knowledge of any situation that you feel would be helpful to the people around you, simply “two-touch” your Smartphone’s screen and type your message (“three-touch” for PANIC). We recommend that you position your My Security Bubble icon on the home screen of your Smartphone for immediate accessibility.
If you want to use My Security Bubble as a communications tool for your local community association, simply use the “Invite” function built into the My Security Bubble App. Or, you could put a note in your neighborhood newsletter to invite your neighbors to go to the App Store and download the App. It’s as simple as that! You might also want to “Invite” friends and family members who live outside of your local area but are in the contact list of your Smartphone. That way, they also will be able to benefit from immediate notification if there is a reported situation wherever they are.
