************IMPORTANT INFORMATION************

***YOU MUST CHOSE WHAT ANDROID SYSTEM YOU ARE RUNNING NOUGAT OR OREO IN THE LEFT HAND MENU AT THE TOP BEFORE DOING ANYTHING

You can be running Android 7.0 or 7.1 with OMS Substratum theme support, and/or Stock Android Oreo (8.0 and 8.1) (stock Oreo for now, no custom Oreo rom support yet) to use this theme. if you have no idea what I am referring to, please don't download because it will not work. If your on Stock non-rooted Android Oreo 8.0 you will need Andromeda for Substratum for this theme to work.

*****IF YOU JUST ASSUME THE THEME IS CAUSING YOUR PROBLEMS AND NEVER EMAIL ME THEN ITS ON YOU AND I CANT HELP!!*****

Samsung devices only may have problems with Systemui and Settings overlay, for now DO NOT apply those overlays!! If there is enough interest I can make Samsung specific apps!

HOW TO INSTALL:

1) Download and open substratum app and select Onyx theme
2) Once open you must chose what Android System your running (Nougat or Oreo) in the left hand side of the top of the screen.
3) Choose any other overlays of apps you want from various selections
4) If you want accent colors then make a selection in Android System for primary and accent colors otherwise they will be gray by default
5) Use the floating button at the bottom right to build and apply the overlays
6) Reboot(most changes will take affect instantly however, some may need a reboot)

********************VERY IMPORTANT****************
If you run into problems after an app updates, uninstall all Onyx overlays, reboot, then reapply. 99 percent of the time it will work!

*******Important*******

If you want to go back to a android system color, battery icon, or navbar previously applied you MUST clean overlays then apply your choice again. You can go through all 40 plus colors, battery icons, and navbars however, if you want to go back to one twice you must clean overlays.

How to Clean Overlays:

1- Go to the upper right hand corner of Substratum (while inside the Onyx theme)
2- Click the three little white menu dots. This will drop-down a menu then hit the “clean installed overlays” section.
3- Wait for it to clean (takes like 5 seconds) your screen will flash dark then back on
4- Reboot your device, then your free to re-apply your choice again.
This process sucks however, system color on newer phones has become very difficult to theme/overlay, but it works every time!

If for any reason you run into problems or force closes, flash the Substratum Rescue zip in custom recovery and that will get you back up and running. If that doesnt help email me!!!!!
