Pawtals

Pawtals allows individuals and groups in education, corporations, hotels and the home, to collaborate, innovate and be productive together, using multiple windows on large touch-screens. A quick, easy multi-touch gesture using two fingers will create a window on the touch-screen at a position, and of a size corresponding to the users fingers. Icons appear in the window, corresponding to valid (customisable) bookmarks to web-pages and web-applications, from which the user selects one, which then runs in the window. Since there is no Start Menu to worry about, and since the icons appear in the newly-created window, users don’t have to move round each other, or swap position to use their required application on the large touch-screen. The bookmarks which appear when a new window is created, and the screen background can be changed. Multiple window, running different windows in various sizes can be operated by multiple users at the same time – either working independently on their own project, or collectively with a common purpose. Windows can be closed, maximised, minimised or moved at will – either by touch or by pointing device. This allows various data and presentations to be pre-prepared, and un-minimised when required.
