This is a motion sensitive game with audio (so even a child who hasn't learnt to read can play this game). Turn up your media volume, ask your child to stand, let your child hold your device firmly horizontally, and get ready for a whole lot of fun and exercise! [Please calibrate your device before you play for the first time, if necessary. See *NOTE below]
See how many instructions your child can follow but remember that he/she should only follow the instructions when they start with "Simon says".
Turn left refers to turning 90 degrees counter-clockwise and
Turn right refers to turning 90 degrees clockwise.
After following each "Simon says" instruction correctly, remember to stay in that new position. [You guessed it! Your child might actually need to turn while sitting if the previous "Simon says" instruction was to sit down.]
For a greater challenge, toggle the button "normal" so that it says "opposite" and do the opposite of instructions which start with "Simon says".
Challenge your child by comparing highest scores. Or better still, let your child challenge his/her friends!
This app has no in-app purchasing, ads or other stuff that we all don't like to see in apps designed for children.
*NOTE:
To calibrate your device, keep your device horizontal while moving your device in a big horizontal figure 8 motion several times before tapping the START/PLAY AGAIN button.
If you find that the game always ends even though you turn left or right correctly after a "Simon says" instruction, your device might need to be calibrated - just follow the instructions above.
