Official Description

VikingChrono Ballistic Chronograph. Measure the Muzzle Velocity of a bullet with your mobile device. VikingChrono is a full featured audio ballistic chronograph. Our application uses the sound recording capability of the mobile device to record the sound characteristics of a bullet in flight. A real-time audio processing algorithm determines the bullet Muzzle Velocity, and displays on the device. An optional secondary device (tablet, notebook, phone) using hotspot, or WIFI capability allows the VikingChrono to be remotely controlled from the shooting bench, and allows viewing of data from each shot. A report shows the sequence of shots for each group with summary information for the group including: Average Velocity, Max, Min, Spread, and Standard Deviation. Works in many situations when light based Chronographs will fail, or become unreliable.

Limitations
-Works with supersonic rifle bullets only. No handguns.
-No suppressors or silencers
-For use in open outdoor ranges only
