Description

This app was made for generating sankey models in a very efficient way on mobile devices. Sankey models are diagrams, in which the width of an arrow or the size of a station is related to a flow figure. Target state is the modelling of a sankey diagram directly with the customer and sharing the model as a picture for documentation.

For every model it is possible to calculate a quality KPI. The value of that KPI is defined as the sum of the products of the length and the defined size of all arrows. If you compare two layout scenarios based on the same layout, a lower KPI-value means less flow volume. E.g. if you have designed two workshop layouts and the size of the arrows represents the transport volume between machines, the layout with less transports will have the lower value.

Flow figures are e.g. containers per week, kW, passengers per day etc.

Different workflows are recommended:
- Define all the flows within the list view of the arrows. Afterwards optimize the layout of the model.
- Draw the model directly at the diagram view.
- Predefine the layout with stations. Afterwards add the arrows e.g. during a site visit.
